Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Edge Analytics ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at edgeanalytics.au and any associated products. This policy explains how we handle personal information in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What information we collect

We collect information only where necessary to operate the service:

  • Account data: email address provided when you subscribe or sign up for round alerts.
  • Payment data: billing is handled by Whop (and in the future, Stripe). We do not store credit card details — payment processors handle this under their own privacy policies.
  • Usage data: aggregated, anonymised analytics via Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites.
  • Communications: messages you send us via email or contact form.

3. How we use your information

  • To deliver the subscription service and transactional emails (e.g. round alerts, receipts).
  • To respond to your enquiries and support requests.
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product (anonymised only).
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We have no affiliate relationships with any sportsbook. We do not share your data with betting operators.

We retain your email address while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion at any time (see section 7).

6. Cookies

The marketing site does not use cookies. The analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design. If you access the product app, a session token may be stored in your browser to maintain your login state.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations).
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

8. Responsible gambling

Edge Analytics is a data and tooling product, not a gambling service. We have no financial relationship with sportsbooks. If you are concerned about your gambling, contact the National Gambling Helpline at 1800 858 858 (AU) or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
